1. Who we are

PTLancer is operated by PTLancer Sports Consultation W.L.L., a limited liability company (W.L.L.) registered in the State of Qatar under Commercial Registration No. 208785 ("PTLancer", "we", "us").

These terms govern your use of the PTLancer website at https://ptlancer.com and the PTLancer application at https://app.ptlancer.com (together, the "Platform").

2. What PTLancer is

PTLancer is a marketplace that connects clients with independent personal trainers. It is important that you understand the following:

• Trainers on PTLancer are independent professionals. They are not employed by, contracted to, or agents of PTLancer.
• The coaching service — including any training programme, nutrition guidance, session or check-in — is provided by the trainer, not by PTLancer.
• PTLancer provides the platform: trainer verification, discovery, scheduling, programme and progress tools, messaging, and payment and record-keeping infrastructure.
• Trainers set their own package contents and their own prices. PTLancer does not set trainer prices.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.

4. Trainer verification

Trainers submit professional credentials which we review before their profile can be listed, and they must hold an active trainer membership to appear in client discovery. This verification is a documentary check. It is not a guarantee of any particular result, and it does not make PTLancer the provider of the coaching.

5. Purchases, and Paddle's role

This means that when you buy a package or a membership through PTLancer:

• You purchase from Paddle as authorised reseller; the service is then made available to you by the trainer or by PTLancer as applicable.
• Paddle is responsible for processing the payment, determining and collecting any applicable sales tax or VAT, and issuing your receipt.
• Your purchase is also subject to the Paddle Buyer Terms.

6. Prices and payment

Prices for trainer packages are set by the individual trainer and are shown in US dollars before you purchase. Tax may be added at checkout by Paddle based on your location. A purchase gives you the package described at the time of purchase, for the validity period stated on that package.

7. Delivery of the coaching service

Your trainer is responsible for delivering what their package describes. PTLancer does not guarantee any specific fitness, health, body-composition or performance outcome, and nothing on the Platform should be read as such a guarantee.

If a trainer stops offering their services through PTLancer while you hold an undelivered package, see the Refund Policy.

8. Trainer memberships

Trainers subscribe to a membership in order to offer services on PTLancer. Membership tiers, prices and billing frequency are shown to the trainer before they subscribe. Membership refund terms are set out in the Refund Policy.

9. Health disclaimer

PTLancer is not a medical provider and does not give medical advice. Personal training and nutrition guidance carry inherent risk. Consult a qualified medical professional before starting any training or nutrition programme, particularly if you have an existing health condition, are pregnant, or are recovering from injury. You participate at your own risk.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Platform, including by: providing false information; impersonating another person; attempting to gain unauthorised access to any account or system; taking payment for PTLancer-arranged coaching outside the Platform in order to avoid platform terms; harassing another user; or uploading unlawful content.

11. Intellectual property

The Platform, its software and its branding belong to PTLancer or its licensors. Training programmes and materials created by a trainer belong to that trainer, who grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own training.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, PTLancer is not liable for the acts or omissions of an independent trainer, and our aggregate liability to you in connection with the Platform is limited to the amount you paid through the Platform in the twelve months before the claim arose.

13. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, where required by law, or to protect the Platform and its users. Termination does not affect refund rights already accrued under the Refund Policy.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The "last updated" date above will change and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

15. Governing law

PTLancer is operated by a company registered in the State of Qatar. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of the State of Qatar have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

This does not affect any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you under the law of the country where you live, and it does not require you to give up any right you cannot lawfully give up.
